Senior Software Engineer II (Golang, Fulfillment)

Senior • Remote

285,600 - 357,600 PLN/yr

Krakow, MA, Poland

The ideal candidate will be able to

  • Take extreme ownership: You don’t just close tickets; you own the outcome. If a feature breaks or a customer is stuck, you’re the one who sees the fix through, regardless of where the problem sits in the stack.
  • Navigate real complexity: You will be untangling massive systems and solving high-stakes puzzles that require creative thinking and the grit to push through frustration.
  • Be a “whatever it takes” engineer: You are flexible. If the frontend lead is out or an infra fire starts, you’re ready to jump in, learn what you don’t know, and clear the path for the team.
  • Treat AI as a teammate: Use AI tools daily to move faster, solve difficult problems, and maintain a high quality bar.
  • Drive the team forward: Provide technical leadership, make smart decisions, and address technical debt before it becomes a roadblock.

What skill are we searching for?

  • Real-world experience: At least 5 to 7 years building software that survives high-traffic, production environments.
  • Backend mastery: High proficiency in Golang and, ideally, JS/TS.
  • AI fluency: Experience integrating AI into your workflow to write better code and debug complex systems.
  • Solid fundamentals: Deep understanding of data structures, algorithms, and design patterns for building at scale.
  • Strong communication: Solid command of English, minimum B2.

Perfect candidate also has

  • The “Figure it Out” gene: Enjoys solving problems without a clear answer.
  • Full-stack flexibility: Willingness to work with PHP when needed to deliver a project.
  • Cloud and infrastructure comfort: Familiarity with AWS, Terraform, or Kubernetes and how code operates in production.
  • A mentoring mindset: Raises the bar through thoughtful code reviews and knowledge sharing.

Here’s a bit about what we have to offer

  • Competitive pay: 23,800–29,800 PLN net on B2B.
  • Training budget: 3,500 PLN gross per year.
  • Access to e-learning platforms (O’Reilly).
  • Fully paid private healthcare in LuxMed.
  • Access to the Worksmile platform with a monthly top-up.
  • Subsidized breakfast and lunch through the vending machine in the Kraków office, and lunch in the Gdańsk office once a week.
  • Group English classes with a native speaker.
  • New MacBook Pro, 4K monitors, or other necessary tools.
  • Flexible working hours.
  • Modern, bright, comfortable office space in the city centre.
  • Access to the company library.
  • Great working atmosphere.
  • Chill-out room with a PlayStation and games.
  • Free snacks and beverages in the kitchen.
  • Company parties and social activities.
  • Employee referral program.
  • Relocation package within Poland.
