The Data Science team informs strategy, defines success metrics, and identifies new ways to deliver user value. Data scientists deepen understanding of customers and drive business outcomes through experimentation, causal inference, statistical and machine learning techniques, and data storytelling.

As a Data Scientist, you will help ask the right questions and answer them rigorously. You will work closely with Product and Business teams to understand their goals and proactively inform direction with data. As you grow, responsibilities can range from defining core metrics to building machine learning models and maintaining data pipelines.

This role follows an office-centric hybrid schedule. Standard in-office days are Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday; most employees can work from home on Wednesdays. Working from home on Fridays depends on the type of work.

A Contract of Employment (UoP) is offered for employees in Poland.

What you’ll achieve

  • Design and analyze experiments to measure the impact of new product features.
  • Investigate high-level questions, such as the collaborative patterns of the most successful teams using the product.
  • Add metrics and aggregations to the data warehouse to make new classes of questions answerable.
  • Build models to predict the growth trajectory of different customer segments.
  • Partner with cross-functional stakeholders across Engineering, Product Management, and Business teams to drive data-informed decision-making.

About you

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Math, Statistics, Engineering, a related quantitative field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 3+ years of experience applying data science techniques to drive technical product development and decision-making.
  • Strong technical background in statistics, mathematics, information science, or another heavily quantitative field.
  • Fluency in at least one modern language useful for data processing, such as Python or Scala.
  • Proficiency with relational data modeling and SQL.
  • Expertise in statistical methods and experimental design and analysis.
  • Experience with measurement techniques for search ranking, relevance, or quality assessments.
  • Experience with distributed data processing systems, such as Spark or Redshift.
  • Background in advanced statistical modeling, such as GLM or mixed effects, and/or machine learning techniques.
  • Curiosity about AI tools and emerging technologies, with willingness to learn and use them to enhance productivity, collaboration, or decision-making.

What we’ll offer

The estimated base salary range is 29,000 PLN–32,900 PLN gross per month. Actual base salary varies based on market factors and individual qualifications assessed during the interview process; the range is a guideline and may be modified.

In addition to base salary, the compensation package may include equity, sales incentive pay for most sales roles, and benefits.
