The clinic is seeking a BC/BE Electrophysiologist to join its Cardiology department.

Opportunity Highlights

• Join a busy practice of 10 physicians, 10 fellows, and 7 NPs.
• 1:6 call rotation, with opportunities for excess call, $500 per diem, and fellows taking first call.
• Practice includes inpatient, outpatient, and diagnostic services.
• Perform ICD, pacemaker, ablation—including pulse field technology—and loop recorder procedures.
• Work within a full range of cardiology services, including non-invasive, invasive, interventional, and electrophysiology, alongside cardiac and vascular surgery services.
• Training opportunity with the Cardiology fellowship program.
• Practice at a 342-bed regional referral teaching hospital with a Level III Trauma Center, 24/7 staffed ED and hospitalist services, helicopter access, and state-of-the-art cath labs.

Package Details

• Guaranteed base salary of $785,104 per year plus production, guaranteed for two years.
• $100,000 recruitment bonus.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a medical or osteopathic medical school.
• Completion of an appropriate residency program and demonstrated physician competency.
• Board certified or board eligible.
• Ability to obtain medical staff privileges.
• Licensed or eligible for an Iowa physician license.
• Iowa Controlled Substance Certificate and Federal DEA Certificate.
• Above-average communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
