Section of Pediatric Hospital Medicine | University of Oklahoma Health

The Section of Pediatric Hospital Medicine at the University of Oklahoma Health is seeking Board Certified/Board Eligible pediatricians to join our growing team as we expand services to care for Oklahoma’s children. We are looking for clinicians with strong clinical skills who enjoy working with diverse and medically complex patients and who value collaboration within an academic environment that includes medical students, residents, and fellows.

Clinical Environment

Clinical practice is based at Oklahoma Children’s Hospital, a freestanding, not-for-profit 348-bed tertiary care children’s hospital with approximately 14,000 annual admissions. The hospital offers comprehensive subspecialty support, including:

  • Pediatric Emergency Department
  • PICU, CVICU, and NICU

Opportunities for moonlighting are available. The section will also provide consultative support to a new 72-bed inpatient Behavioral Health Center opening December 2026.

  • Clinical shifts include day, night, and transfer center admitting officer coverage
