Van Metre is seeking a Leasing Consultant at The Piedmont Raleigh Apartments. Leasing Consultants are key contributors to the success of the residential community, serving as the primary point of contact for current and prospective residents while supporting occupancy and retention goals.

As a Leasing Consultant, your primary focus will be to develop productive and positive relationships with residents (both current and prospective) that maximize client satisfaction, occupancy, and retention.

Responsibilities

  • Greet every visitor to the community with a warm welcome and assist as needed
  • Engage in sales activities to increase traffic and occupancy (i.e., grassroots marketing)
  • Maintain thorough knowledge of the property and its amenities
  • Conduct phone and email follow-up, schedule and conduct property tours, and process rental applications
  • Provide customer service, address concerns, and conduct lease renewals
  • Monitor service requests and communicate with the service team and residents
  • Plan, organize, and conduct resident events with the team
  • Complete three exterior community inspections weekly and report deficiencies
  • Inspect vacant apartments and report needed repairs
  • Prepare and complete sales administrative tasks and reports (i.e., market surveys)
  • Perform other sales, customer service, and property-related tasks as needed

Requirements

  • Previous leasing experience highly preferred
  • Previous experience in customer service, sales, hospitality, or related fields
  • Ability to conduct community and apartment inspections in varying weather conditions
  • Weekend work is required
  • Bilingual preferred

Compensation and Benefits
