Role

Account Manager

The Account Manager manages the day-to-day relationship between marketing teams and the OLIVER studio across one or more business units. You are responsible for brief management, project tracking, stakeholder communication, and the smooth flow of work through the OMG system. You partner with Integrated Project Managers in Mexico City to ensure production milestones are met and flagged issues are resolved proactively.

Based in Minneapolis, MN you'll be part of a three-person Account Management team supporting the Business Director in delivering a seamless, high-volume content production operation across our client's organization. Working at the heart of a brand means integrating seamlessly across your client's business and evolving needs.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Manage a portfolio of active briefs across one or more business units — from brief intake through delivery — ensuring all projects are tracked, resourced, and delivered to agreed SLAs
  • Build strong working relationships with marketing stakeholders, acting as a responsive, knowledgeable, and proactive day-to-day contact
  • Work within OMG to raise, track, and close briefs; maintain up-to-date project status information and support proactive alerting on potential bottlenecks
  • Partner with Integrated Project Managers (Mexico City) to coordinate production milestones, manage dependencies, and ensure seamless cross-location delivery
  • Support the preparation of weekly status reports and QBR documentation under the guidance of the Business Director
  • Manage stakeholder expectations around timelines, creative scope, and delivery — communicating clearly and proactively
  • Review briefs for completeness and clarity before routing to the creative and production team; escalate ambiguities promptly
  • Track and flag scope changes, version control issues, or resourcing risks to the Business Director and Program Director
  • Contribute to the studio's culture by staying engaged with university brands, programs, and priorities

What You Need to Be Great in This Role

  • Experience in an account management, client services, or project management role in a creative, marketing, or content production environment
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple concurrent workstreams
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills with direct client interaction at marketing manager and director level
  • Proactive, solutions-focused working style
  • Familiarity with project management or workflow systems (OMG, Workfront, Asana, or similar)
  • Understanding of creative production workflows in a multi-channel content environment
  • Comfort working across a multi-location team and collaborating remotely
  • Curiosity about how AI tools can enhance account management and creative production workflows
  • Willingness to develop proficiency with Pencil and OMG's AI-assist features
  • Ability to break down complex multi-brief workloads into clear, manageable priorities

Compensation

  • Base salary range: $97,750.00 to $109,250.00 USD, depending on experience and qualifications
