About NOVOVISION
NOVOVISION is a casino management system serving dozens of customers across the gaming industry. We are at a pivotal growth phase - having built a strong customer base, we are now scaling our delivery capability, stabilising our product, and running a significant technology transformation programme.
As we grow, the ability to deliver complex implementation projects reliably and at pace becomes a critical differentiator. We are investing in building a world-class delivery function to match our product ambitions.
The Role
The IT Project Manager owns the end-to-end delivery of implementation and product initiatives at NOVOVISION - from the moment a project is handed over by Sales, through to a stable go-live and formal handover to Account Management.
This is a high-ownership, high-coordination role. You will be the person who ensures that scope is clear, plans are realistic, teams are aligned, and projects actually land. You will work across Engineering, Product, UX, Architecture, QA, DevOps, and Hardware/Deployment teams - acting as the connective tissue that keeps complex multi-stream projects on track.
You will not manage technical teams directly, define business scope, or make architectural decisions - but you will be expected to understand these domains well enough to identify risks early, ask the right questions, and escalate with precision.
Importantly, this role is not purely executional. NOVOVISION is undergoing a deliberate transformation in how it delivers software - and this person is expected to be a change-agent within that journey. You will help shape how teams plan, collaborate, and deliver: introducing or refining agile practices where appropriate, contributing to the foundations of a delivery function, and modelling the behaviours that a maturing engineering organisation needs to see.
What You Will Do
Shape how delivery works & drive cross-team execution
• Actively contribute to building NOVOVISION's delivery capability - this is not a role that inherits a mature PMO, it helps create one
• Work with the Head of Technology and engineering managers to improve cross-team ways of working: planning cycles, dependency management, and release coordination
• Model the behaviours of a high-performing delivery culture: transparency, accountability, constructive challenge, and continuous improvement
• Coordinate delivery across Product Owners, Engineering Managers, UX Designers, Architects, QA, DevOps, IT, Hardware, and on-site deployment teams
• Run structured project ceremonies - standups, steering, retrospectives - appropriate to project complexity
• Identify dependencies between teams and actively manage them; don't let handoffs become blockers
• Surface risks and impediments early and escalate them with the right context for fast resolution
End-to-end project ownership & delivery control
• Take formal ownership of projects from Sales handover through to Account Management handover
• Run project kick-offs: establish project charters, define scope, agree key milestones and dependencies
• Build and maintain realistic, up-to-date delivery plans across all workstreams
• Ensure every project has a clear owner, a defined scope, and an executable plan before execution begins
• Ensure that what is being built matches what was agreed - flag scope creep, undocumented changes, and delivery gaps
• Coordinate UAT preparation: align stakeholders, organise test environments, track defect resolution
• Own the go-live recommendation - only green-light production launches when criteria are genuinely met
Go-live, stabilisation & handover
• Oversee production go-live: coordinate teams, manage sequencing, monitor early stability
• Lead the initial stabilisation phase post-launch, ensuring issues are triaged and resolved rapidly
• Prepare and execute formal project handover to Account Management with full documentation and open items resolved
What We Are Looking For
Must-have experience
• Experience coordinating across multiple technical disciplines simultaneously
• Comfortable managing projects where scope, dependencies, and stakeholders are genuinely complex
• Ability to build and maintain delivery plans that teams actually follow - not shelf documents
• Strong risk identification and escalation discipline - you surface problems early, not after they become crises
• Experience introducing or improving delivery practices in teams that were not previously structured - you have built something, not just run something
Ways of working
• Work closely with team leads who currently operate without a senior management layer above them
• High ownership mentality - you treat project outcomes as your personal responsibility
• Clear, structured communicator - written and verbal; you keep stakeholders informed without overwhelming them
• Decisive under ambiguity - you can make a call with incomplete information and coursecorrect as needed
• Change-agent by nature - you are not satisfied with 'this is how we've always done it'; you look for better ways and bring people with you
• Process-minded but not bureaucratic - you introduce structure where it helps, not everywhere
• Technically fluent - you do not need to code, but you must understand enough to have credible conversations with engineering, architecture, and infrastructure teams
Nice to have
• Experience in gaming, or other regulated on-premise software environments
• Familiarity with hardware-integrated software deployments
• PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent certification (valued but not required)
What We Offer
• Real impact on building and developing the delivery function within the organization – including co-creating standards, processes, and ways of working
• Opportunity to work on complex technology projects involving multiple teams and domains
• Hybrid work model
• Long-term cooperation based on an employment contract or B2B agreement
• Access to private healthcare packages (PZU)
• Company-provided laptop

It combines executive-level leadership with deep technical oversight across a complex, multi-technology environment. 🗂️ Requirements: Proven experience leading engineering organizations of 50+ people, Strong hands-on engineering background with ability to review architecture and challenge technical decisions, Experience managing and developing engineering managers, Track record of delivering cloud migration or legacy system modernization, Experience in multi-technology and mixed deployment environments, Ability to establish engineering processes and delivery governance, Experience aligning technical roadmap with product strategy 📃 Skills: AWS, Cloud, Architecture, DevOps, QA, Microservices, Monolith, CI/CD, Agile, SaaS 🏢 Description: About NOVOVISION NOVOVISION is a casino management system serving dozens of customers across the gaming industry. We are at an exciting inflection point - having successfully acquired a strong customer base, we are now entering a phase of deliberate growth and product stabilisation. Our ambition is to build a world-class technology platform that is cloud-ready, scalable, and future-proof. This means we are investing heavily in our engineering organisation: raising the quality bar, building a solid product vision, and making foundational technology decisions that will determine how we grow over the next decade. The Role As Head of Technology, you will be the senior-most engineering leader in the organisation, responsible for the health, direction, and performance of our entire technology department. You will report directly to the CEO and act as the primary bridge between business ambitions and engineering execution. This is not a purely hands-off role. While you will not be expected to write production code day-to-day, you will need to earn and maintain deep technical credibility - capable of challenging architectural decisions, reviewing technical trade-offs, and holding teams to high engineering standards. Critically, you are joining at a moment of transformation. You will be shaping the management layer beneath you, introducing engineering discipline, and helping us chart the path from a predominantly on-premise, monolith-adjacent system toward a modern, cloud-capable product. What You Will Do Build and lead the engineering organisation •Own the structure, performance, and culture of the ~80-person technology department •Create and develop a strong management layer - identify, grow, and hire engineering managers beneath you •Establish clear accountability, engineering standards, and delivery discipline across all teams •Work closely with team leads who currently operate without a senior management layer above them Stabilise and scale engineering delivery •Establish predictable, reliable delivery cadences across product and component teams •Introduce or refine engineering processes: planning, estimation, incident management, technical debt governance •Work with QA and DevOps (both functioning as separate, mature groups) to strengthen cross-functional delivery flows •Identify systemic bottlenecks - particularly in the shared frontend group and cross-team dependencies - and resolve them Align technology with product vision •Partner with the Product Owner to ensure the technical roadmap supports and enables the product strategy •Translate business growth ambitions into scalable technology decisions - particularly around multi-customer cloud deployments •Contribute to technology positioning as a competitive differentiator in the casino management space Represent technology at the leadership level •Be the voice of engineering in leadership discussions - balancing speed, quality, and technical sustainability •Report directly to the CEO; own the technology narrative for the business •Engage selectively with key customers or partners where technology credibility is required What We Are Looking For Must-have experience •Proven track record leading engineering organisations of 50+ people •Strong hands-on engineering background - you can challenge technical decisions, review architecture, and speak credibly to your teams •Experience managing and developing engineering managers (not just individual contributors) •Delivered meaningful technology transformation - cloud migration, platform modernisation, or re-architecture of legacy systems •Comfortable operating in a complex, multi-technology environment (polyglot stacks, mixed deployment models) Leadership approach •Servant leader at heart - you believe your job is to remove obstacles and enable your teams to do their best work •Decisive when it matters, consultative when it adds value - you don't confuse the two •High emotional intelligence and communication maturity - you will be operating between technical teams and a CEO •You build management capability around you, not dependency on yourself •You hold people accountable with respect, clarity, and consistency Nice to have •Familiarity with the gaming / casino domain - compliance considerations, hardware integration, high-availability requirements •Experience with AWS and cloud migration programmes •Background in product-led organisations or close collaboration with Product Owners What We Offer: •Close collaboration with Product Owners and product teams to ensure technology supports the business strategy •A work culture based on trust, transparency, shared responsibility, and team support •Opportunity for long-term cooperation based on an employment contract •Hybrid work model •Access to private healthcare packages (PZU) •Company-provided laptop
