About NOVOVISION
NOVOVISION is a casino management system serving dozens of customers across the gaming industry. We are at an important inflection point - our customer base is growing, our product scope is expanding, and we are undergoing a deliberate transformation to mature how we build and deliver software.
A central pillar of this transformation is building strong, disciplined product ownership. We want Product Owners who treat their domain like a product business: with a clear vision, a well-maintained backlog, sharp prioritisation, and the confidence to challenge requests that do not serve the product's long-term direction.
The Role
As a Product Owner at NOVOVISION, you will take full ownership of one or more product domains within our casino management platform and be accountable for their direction, backlog, and delivery outcomes. Domain assignment is based on your background, strengths, and the needs of the organisation at the time of joining - we are hiring for capability first, domain fit second.
You are joining at a moment when product ownership is being established as a genuine discipline.
There is an existing backlog - large, complex, and in need of serious attention - and your first mission will be to bring clarity, structure, and prioritisation to it. You will work with Jira and Confluence as your primary tools, and you will be expected to use them with rigour.
You will work in close collaboration with the Product Design department, engineering teams, Sales, and Market Owners - the HQ representatives who maintain direct relationships with individual casino markets. You will be the person who synthesises input from all of these sources into a coherent, defensible plan for your domain.
This is not a role for someone who takes every request at face value. We need a Product Owner who asks hard questions, challenges assumptions, and is comfortable saying no - or 'not yet' - with data and reasoning to back it up.
What You Will Do
Own your product domain end-to-end & backlog management
• Take full accountability for the product vision, backlog, and roadmap within your assigned domain
• Define and maintain a clear, prioritised backlog in Jira - well-structured, up-to-date, and genuinely useful to engineering teams
• Write high-quality user stories with clear acceptance criteria, context, and rationale - not just task descriptions
• Own the 'why' behind every item in your backlog; be able to articulate business value and user impact for each initiative
• Take over and restructure an existing, high-volume backlog - apply frameworks and discipline to bring it under control
• Ruthlessly prioritise: distinguish between must-haves, should-haves, and items that should simply be closed
• Introduce and maintain backlog hygiene practices - regular grooming, story readiness criteria, and sprint-ready definitions
• Use data, usage patterns, and stakeholder input to drive prioritisation decisions, not just volume or loudness of requests
Product decision-making & stakeholder alignment
• Act as the gatekeeper for your domain - evaluate incoming feature requests from Sales,
Market Owners, and engineering against product strategy
• Confidently push back on requests that lack clear value, conflict with the roadmap, or would create unsustainable technical or product debt
• Facilitate discovery conversations to understand the real need behind a request before committing to a solution
• Document decisions and their rationale in Confluence - create a transparent record of what was decided and why
• Manage stakeholder expectations proactively: communicate roadmap status, changes, and trade-offs clearly and consistently
• Represent your domain in cross-functional planning discussions with confidence and with evidence
Collaboration across product, design, and engineering
• Work hand-in-hand with the Product Design department from early discovery through to delivery - design and product ownership should be inseparable in how we work
• Co-own the user experience vision for your domain; ensure UX and functional requirements are developed together, not sequentially
• Review and validate designs against acceptance criteria and user needs before handoff to engineering
• Serve as the primary point of contact between engineering teams and business stakeholders for your domain
• Translate market and sales input into clear, actionable product requirements - and translate engineering constraints back to stakeholders in plain language
• Participate in sprint ceremonies: planning, reviews - as an active contributor, not a passive attendee
• Work closely with the IT Project Manager to ensure your roadmap aligns with delivery capacity and project commitments
What We Are Looking For
Must-have experience
• Solid, hands-on Product Owner experience - you have owned a backlog, run sprints, and are accountable for product outcomes
• Demonstrable backlog hygiene discipline - you can show what a well-maintained Jira board looks like and explain how you got there
• Strong user story writing - you understand the difference between a story and a task, and you write acceptance criteria that engineering teams can actually use
• Experience managing and synthesising input from multiple stakeholders with competing priorities
• Proven ability to say no constructively - with reasoning, alternatives, and maintained relationships
• Comfortable working in Jira and Confluence as primary tools of record
Ways of working
• Rigorous - you treat backlog hygiene and documentation as professional standards, not administrative overhead
• Decisive - you can make prioritisation calls under pressure and explain them clearly
• Collaborative - you work with Design, Engineering, Sales, and Market Owners as genuine partners, not information consumers
• Curious -you ask 'why' before 'what', and you validate assumptions before committing to solutions
• Resilient - you can handle a large, messy backlog and multiple stakeholders without losing focus or rigour
Nice to have
• Experience in the casino or gaming technology sector - this is a significant advantage given the compliance and market complexity of our environment
• Familiarity with multi-market or multi-tenant product environments
• CSPO (Certified Scrum Product Owner), PSPO (Professional Scrum Product Owner), or equivalent
• Any Agile/Scrum practitioner certification is a positive signal of foundational discipline
What We Offer
• Strong influence over the product roadmap and backlog priorities
• Partnership-based collaboration between business, product, and technology
• A work culture built on ownership, transparency, and collaboration
• Hybrid work model
• Long-term cooperation based on an employment contract or B2B agreement
• Access to private healthcare packages (PZU)
• Company-provided laptop

We are at an exciting inflection point - having successfully acquired a strong customer base, we are now entering a phase of deliberate growth and product stabilisation. Our ambition is to build a world-class technology platform that is cloud-ready, scalable, and future-proof. This means we are investing heavily in our engineering organisation: raising the quality bar, building a solid product vision, and making foundational technology decisions that will determine how we grow over the next decade. The Role As Head of Technology, you will be the senior-most engineering leader in the organisation, responsible for the health, direction, and performance of our entire technology department. You will report directly to the CEO and act as the primary bridge between business ambitions and engineering execution. This is not a purely hands-off role. While you will not be expected to write production code day-to-day, you will need to earn and maintain deep technical credibility - capable of challenging architectural decisions, reviewing technical trade-offs, and holding teams to high engineering standards. Critically, you are joining at a moment of transformation. You will be shaping the management layer beneath you, introducing engineering discipline, and helping us chart the path from a predominantly on-premise, monolith-adjacent system toward a modern, cloud-capable product. What You Will Do Build and lead the engineering organisation •Own the structure, performance, and culture of the ~80-person technology department •Create and develop a strong management layer - identify, grow, and hire engineering managers beneath you •Establish clear accountability, engineering standards, and delivery discipline across all teams •Work closely with team leads who currently operate without a senior management layer above them Stabilise and scale engineering delivery •Establish predictable, reliable delivery cadences across product and component teams •Introduce or refine engineering processes: planning, estimation, incident management, technical debt governance •Work with QA and DevOps (both functioning as separate, mature groups) to strengthen cross-functional delivery flows •Identify systemic bottlenecks - particularly in the shared frontend group and cross-team dependencies - and resolve them Align technology with product vision •Partner with the Product Owner to ensure the technical roadmap supports and enables the product strategy •Translate business growth ambitions into scalable technology decisions - particularly around multi-customer cloud deployments •Contribute to technology positioning as a competitive differentiator in the casino management space Represent technology at the leadership level •Be the voice of engineering in leadership discussions - balancing speed, quality, and technical sustainability •Report directly to the CEO; own the technology narrative for the business •Engage selectively with key customers or partners where technology credibility is required What We Are Looking For Must-have experience •Proven track record leading engineering organisations of 50+ people •Strong hands-on engineering background - you can challenge technical decisions, review architecture, and speak credibly to your teams •Experience managing and developing engineering managers (not just individual contributors) •Delivered meaningful technology transformation - cloud migration, platform modernisation, or re-architecture of legacy systems •Comfortable operating in a complex, multi-technology environment (polyglot stacks, mixed deployment models) Leadership approach •Servant leader at heart - you believe your job is to remove obstacles and enable your teams to do their best work •Decisive when it matters, consultative when it adds value - you don't confuse the two •High emotional intelligence and communication maturity - you will be operating between technical teams and a CEO •You build management capability around you, not dependency on yourself •You hold people accountable with respect, clarity, and consistency Nice to have •Familiarity with the gaming / casino domain - compliance considerations, hardware integration, high-availability requirements •Experience with AWS and cloud migration programmes •Background in product-led organisations or close collaboration with Product Owners What We Offer: •Close collaboration with Product Owners and product teams to ensure technology supports the business strategy •A work culture based on trust, transparency, shared responsibility, and team support •Opportunity for long-term cooperation based on an employment contract •Hybrid work model •Access to private healthcare packages (PZU) •Company-provided laptop
