Senior Product Owner

You will be assigned to team Customer Portals IT, building and evolving solutions used by over 3 million customers, including B2C and B2B mobile apps, the renewed client's Customer Portal and websites.

How you will get the job done

  • creating IT product definitions in a way that the products can be flexible by adjusting to changing business needs and possibly reuse them in the future

  • managing digital product backlogs, mapping epics into stories in a 'clean' and understandable way, including DoD and DoR, according to business values, architectural decisions considering potential technical debts or regulatory requirements

  • ensuring the Product Backlog is visible, transparent, and clear to all and shows what the Scrum Team will work on next

  • actively and regularly communicating with businesses about current work and plans

  • maintaining the product roadmap through collaboration with business - considering and influencing external dependencies – teams and vendors

  • cooperating with the Project Manager and Architect to deliver complex solutions built out of multiple products

  • working as a digital Product Owner for IT solutions, prioritizing changes for the development team

  • co-planning and contributing to the release management process

  • keeping the Mobile apps up and running to ensure current speed, performance and legal, security and functionality points of view

  • organizing product backlog and delivery needed and communicating with respective parties

  • analyzing the incidents with QA help

  • prioritizing technical debt after consultations with the Architect, Engineering Lead and team

  • identifying the future potential of your products and getting your teams, customers, and business network excited about it

  • preparing required product documentation, correspondence, and presentations

  • observing KPIs of your products, and informing the team about resulting business value

  • tools we use daily: JIRA, Confluence, Miro, MS Office, MS Teams and SharePoint

 Skills and experience you will need

  • fluency in Polish and English

  • 6+ years of experience in the role of Product Owner or Product Manager

  • proactive mindset, project management skills and ability to manage multiple tasks effectively

  • excellent communication skills and ability to engage, influence, and inspire stakeholders to drive collaboration and alignment

  • good organization skills

  • ability to manage bigger and new but also smaller and legacy products or functionalities

  • ability to adapt to changing circumstances and embrace change with a positive attitude

  • knowledge and understanding of Agile methodologies (especially SCRUM and Kanban)

  • flexible approach to lead and support the team and product lifecycle

  • stakeholder and dependencies management skills

  • broad knowledge of IT, either from a Computer Science degree or self-study

Nice to have

  • good German – B2 at least – (We work for the German market)

  • experience in end-to-end project delivery

  • experience with mobile-first approach
