Description

You will lead a portfolio of diverse technology projects and drive a major transformation by designing and implementing large-scale distributed, cloud-native systems with high reliability and performance.

You will collaborate with digital product managers and architects to deliver robust cloud-based solutions, and provide technical leadership shaping system architecture and long-term technology direction.

You’ll also stay current with technology trends, experiment with emerging tools, and mentor other engineers.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team and a portfolio of projects spanning distributed microservices and full-stack systems

• Design and implement large-scale distributed or cloud-native systems

• Shape architecture and long-term technology direction across teams

• Partner with product and architecture leaders on platform roadmaps and shared services

• Build synchronous and asynchronous APIs

• Use modern languages and cloud/container technologies to deliver solutions for regulatory needs and customer experiences

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science or a related quantitative field

• 6+ years of software engineering experience

• 3+ years of experience with public cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure), cloud productivity tools, or virtualization technologies
