Description

Build low-latency APIs and backend services using .NET and create user interfaces in Angular for a large-scale financial services platform. Work with microservices architecture, message-driven systems (Kafka/RabbitMQ), CI/CD pipelines via GitHub Actions, and Splunk for observability. Apply rigorous test automation and code review practices while using AI coding tools (GitHub Copilot, Claude, GPT) to accelerate development.

Responsibilities

• Architect and build low-latency .NET APIs and backend services for critical firm systems.

• Develop Angular user interfaces.

• Use GitHub Copilot and AI models (Claude, GPT) to accelerate development.

• Deliver high-impact analytical tools that support investment decision making.

• Maintain >80% test automation coverage and lead multi-peer code reviews.

• Own the production lifecycle using GitHub Actions for CI/CD and Splunk for observability.

• Define clear API contracts using OpenAPI/Swagger.

Requirements

• Authorized to work for any employer in the US (no sponsorship available)

• 2+ years of strong experience with .NET and Angular

• Solid experience with SQL and NoSQL databases, including query tuning and schema design

• Hands-on microservices architecture experience and high-performance RESTful APIs

• Proven background with message-driven systems (Kafka, RabbitMQ, or similar)

• Experience writing unit and integration tests

• Agile/Scrum experience (sprint planning and peer reviews)

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience

• Upper-intermediate English proficiency (B2 or higher)
