Description

Build low-latency backend services and REST APIs using .NET, and create user interfaces with Angular for a large-scale financial services platform supporting critical investment decision tools. You will work with microservices architecture, message-driven systems (Kafka), CI/CD pipelines via GitHub Actions, and Splunk for observability, while using AI coding tools such as GitHub Copilot and Claude. The role emphasizes strong test automation and rigorous multi-peer code review practices.

Responsibilities

• Architect and build low-latency .NET APIs and backend services for firm-wide critical systems
• Build user interfaces in Angular
• Use AI coding tools (GitHub Copilot, Claude, GPT) to accelerate development
• Deliver analytical tools that guide investment decisions
• Maintain >80% test automation coverage and lead rigorous multi-peer code reviews
• Own the production lifecycle with GitHub Actions CI/CD and Splunk observability
• Define clear API contracts using OpenAPI/Swagger

Requirements

• US work authorization to work for any employer (no sponsorship available)
• 2+ years of strong experience with .NET and Angular
• Solid experience with SQL and NoSQL databases, including query tuning and schema design
• Hands-on microservices architecture and high-performance RESTful APIs
• Proven experience with message-driven systems such as Kafka or RabbitMQ
• Skilled in writing unit and integration tests
• Agile/Scrum experience with sprint planning and peer reviews
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Engineering (or equivalent experience)
• Upper-intermediate English proficiency (B2 or higher)
