Description

You will architect low-latency APIs and backend services using .NET and build user interfaces in Angular for a large-scale financial services platform supporting critical investment decision tools. The work includes microservices architecture, message-driven systems (Kafka), CI/CD via GitHub Actions, and observability using Splunk, with AI coding tools (GitHub Copilot and Claude) to speed up development. Emphasis is placed on test automation discipline and rigorous code review.

Responsibilities

• Architect and build low-latency APIs and backend services using .NET.

• Build user interfaces using Angular.

• Use GitHub Copilot and AI models (Claude, GPT) to accelerate development.

• Deliver high-impact analytical tools that guide investment decisions for customers with large asset bases.

• Maintain >80% test automation coverage and lead rigorous multi-peer code reviews.

• Own the production lifecycle of services using GitHub Actions for CI/CD and Splunk for observability.

• Define clear API contracts using OpenAPI/Swagger.

Requirements

• Authorized to work for any employer in the US (no visa sponsorship).

• 2+ years of strong experience with .NET and Angular.

• Solid experience with SQL and NoSQL databases, including query tuning and schema design.

• Hands-on experience with microservices architecture and high-performance RESTful APIs.

• Proven background with message-driven systems such as Kafka or RabbitMQ.

• Skilled writing unit and integration tests.

• Agile/Scrum experience, including sprint planning and peer reviews.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent experience.

• Upper-intermediate English proficiency (B2 or higher).
