Description

You will architect and build low-latency APIs and backend services using .NET, while creating user interfaces in Angular for a large-scale financial services platform supporting critical investment decision tools.

You will work with microservices, message-driven systems (e.g., Kafka), CI/CD pipelines via GitHub Actions, and Splunk observability, with a strong focus on test automation and rigorous code review practices.

Responsibilities

• Architect and build low-latency .NET APIs and backend services for critical firm systems
• Develop user interfaces in Angular
• Use AI coding tools (GitHub Copilot and Claude) to accelerate development
• Deliver analytical tools that support investment decisioning
• Maintain >80% test automation coverage and lead multi-peer code reviews
• Own service production lifecycle using GitHub Actions (CI/CD) and Splunk for observability
• Define API contracts with OpenAPI/Swagger

Requirements

• 2+ years of strong experience with .NET and Angular
• Solid experience with SQL and NoSQL databases, including query tuning and schema design
• Hands-on microservices architecture and high-performance RESTful APIs
• Background with message-driven systems (Kafka or RabbitMQ)
• Experience writing unit and integration tests
• Agile/Scrum experience (sprint planning and peer reviews)
• US work authorization (unable to sponsor; must be authorized to work for any US employer)
• Upper-intermediate English proficiency (B2 or higher)
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent experience
