Description

Lead Growth Marketing’s operating rhythm and strategic, cross-functional projects to drive pipeline, first orders, conversion, expansion, and post-sale adoption in a B2B software business. Partner closely with the VP of Growth Marketing to maintain the end-to-end growth engine view, handle budget trade-offs, represent Growth Marketing in pipeline and partner conversations, and prepare executive updates and keynotes.

Responsibilities

  • Run operating rhythm: goals, business reviews, planning cycles, and metric inspection

  • Track leadership commitments between VP 1:1s to ensure strategy follow-through

  • Own strategic, cross-functional projects without a single functional home

  • Hold the team budget picture, prepare trade-offs, and act within delegated authority

  • Represent Growth Marketing in pipeline reviews, cross-functional planning, and partner conversations

  • Unblock functional leaders or stage issues to reduce the number of required conversations

  • Partner with the AI Transformation owner so AI adoption is visible, measured, and progressing

  • Prepare the VP for high-stakes moments (executive updates, leadership materials, keynotes, customer/partner meetings)

Requirements

  • Breadth across demand/digital, field/events, lifecycle or product-led growth, partner marketing, and marketing operations

  • Proven ability to land cross-functional projects through influence

  • Business fluency: comfortable with P&L, pipeline reporting, and budget models; can explain subscription/consumption trade-offs clearly

  • Experience with goal frameworks, business reviews, and planning cycles

  • Hands-on AI fluency: use AI tools daily and build/configure AI capabilities; curiosity about AI’s impact on marketing operations

  • Executive communication: concise writing, clear verbal briefs, ability to present to and be challenged by VP/C-level leaders

  • Discretion with confidential people, budget, and strategy information

  • Familiarity with developer/DevOps/platform engineering audiences (or ability to ramp quickly)

  • Ability to use GitLab and travel occasionally

Benefits

  • Flexible Paid Time Off

  • Team Member Resource Groups

  • Equity Compensation and Employee Stock Purchase Plan

  • Growth and Development Fund
