Description

Provide anesthesia for complex cardiac and vascular surgeries in a busy heart center. Manage pre-op and post-op cardiac anesthesia care and perform and interpret TEE during intraoperative procedures. Join a structured call rotation (1:5) with variable shifts (8, 10, or 12 hours).

Responsibilities

• Provide anesthesia for complex cardiac and vascular surgeries
• Perform and interpret TEE for intraoperative cardiac procedures
• Manage pre-op and post-op cardiac anesthesia care
• Collaborate with cardiac surgeons and multidisciplinary OR teams
• Participate in a structured 1:5 call rotation

Requirements

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Anesthesiology
• Cardiac Anesthesiology Fellowship required
• ECHO/TEE proficiency required
• Active New York medical license (or eligible)
• BLS, ACLS, PALS certifications
