Description

Board-Certified or Board-Eligible cardiac anesthesiologist needed for full-time locum tenens coverage in Pennsylvania at a Level I Trauma hospital. You will provide anesthesia care across cardiac and other complex surgical and procedural services, collaborating with surgeons and specialty clinicians. Patient care documentation will be completed in Epic EMR.

Responsibilities

• Provide cardiac anesthesia services in a hospital setting

• Deliver high-quality, patient-centered anesthesia care across a broad range of surgical and procedural areas

• Manage patients across all age groups

• Work collaboratively with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and specialty clinicians

• Provide coverage based on daily anesthetizing room assignments

• Participate in night beeper call approximately 1–2 nights per week

• Manage diverse and complex patient populations in a Level I Trauma environment

• Document patient care using Epic EMR

Requirements

• MD/DO required

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Anesthesiology

• Cardiac anesthesiology experience required (minimum 2 years preferred)

• Active Pennsylvania license required, or IMLC Letter of Qualification

• ACLS required

• PALS required

• Comfortable participating in night beeper call
