Description

Provide weekday daytime anesthesia coverage in a locum tenens cardiac setting, with optional call and weekend responsibilities. You will handle a broad cardiac case mix and may supervise APPs as needed in a collaborative anesthesia care model. Two cardiac anesthesiologists are staffed daily on weekdays, with on-call coverage for evenings, weekends, and 24-hour periods as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Deliver hands-on cardiac anesthesia for assigned cases
• Supervise APPs as needed within the cardiac anesthesia care model
• Support weekday daytime coverage with potential optional weekend and call coverage

Requirements

• MD specializing in Cardiac Anesthesia
• Board Certified in Anesthesiology (required)
• Active Florida medical license required (or proof of license application upon approval)
• DEA registration required
• ACLS and BLS certifications required
• Ability to provide 24 months of cardiac case logs within 5 days of credentialing approval
• 100% clean background (no clinical, legal, or pending issues)
• Must not reside in restricted local counties and must meet distance requirements
• Prior employment restrictions apply per client policy
• Provide government-issued photo ID at submission
• Ability to complete credentialing (approximately 90 days)
• Willingness to participate in video or phone interview with site clinical leadership
