Description

An anesthesiologist is needed in Pennsylvania to provide anesthesia for cardiac, liver transplants (70+), and general cases. The facility seeks candidates who are TEE certified (or actively becoming certified) and have a cardiac fellowship, supporting about 500 cardiac cases per fiscal year (around 400 pump cases). Call is 1:6 from home with a post-call day off (or paid if called in).

Responsibilities

• Provide anesthesia coverage for cardiac cases such as LVAD, TAVR, aortic/AVR, MIDCAB, CABG, and minimally invasive mitral clips
• Provide anesthesia for liver transplants (70+)—liver cases paid separately
• Support general anesthesia cases
• Supervise and provide teaching for medical students and CRNA trainees
