• Role: Full-time locum tenens Anesthesiologist

• Schedule: Monday–Friday weekday daytime shifts (5x 8-hour or 5x 10-hour shifts)

• Call coverage: Weeknight beeper call 1 week/month (7:00 PM–7:00 AM) and 1 weekend/month (24-hour weekend coverage)

• Care model: ~80% supervision / ~20% hands-on, with anesthesiologists and CRNAs

• Case mix: General surgery, orthopedics, GI, robotics, OB, radiology, endoscopy, ophthalmology, plastics, ENT, neuro; no trauma coverage; dedicated cardiac team

• EMR: Epic

Description

Provide weekday daytime anesthesia services in a high-volume surgical setting with supervision-heavy care and required beeper call coverage. The position includes a diverse procedural case mix (excluding trauma), with cardiac cases handled by a dedicated team. Documentation is completed in Epic EMR.

Responsibilities

• Deliver anesthesia care for a broad mix of surgical procedures

• Participate in a collaborative care model with anesthesiologists and CRNAs

• Provide beeper call coverage during assigned weeknights and weekends

Requirements

• MD specializing in Anesthesiology

• Board Certified in Anesthesiology (required)

• Active Florida medical license

• ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications

• Submit 24 months of case logs within 5 days of credentialing approval

• Clean background with no clinical, legal, or pending issues

• Maximum of 10 prior affiliations

• Florida resident candidates only and must meet client prior-employment/geographic eligibility rules

• Full-time availability every week of the month and minimum commitment of four weeks per month

• Start date required by June 1, 2026

• Willingness to participate in a clinical interview with site leadership
