Description

Board-Certified Gastroenterologist needed for an outpatient locum tenens opportunity in North Dakota. The physician will provide primarily outpatient procedural GI care, performing about 14–16 procedures per day in a collaborative clinical environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient Gastroenterology coverage
• Perform colonoscopies and EGDs, plus additional procedures as needed (including biopsy, polypectomy, esophageal dilation, manometry, variceal treatment, foreign body removal, flexible sigmoidoscopy, and hemostasis/fulguration)
• Provide patient care in an outpatient setting
• Work alongside other on-site Gastroenterologists and collaborate with CRNAs, RNs, and technicians
• Document patient care using the facility EMR

Requirements

• MD/DO
• Board Certification required
• Active North Dakota medical license (IMLC providers considered)
• Strong experience performing outpatient GI procedures
• Proficiency with colonoscopy and EGD
• Prior locum/travel experience preferred
