Description

Provide Surgical First Assist in the OR (robotics experience required) and provide inpatient medical-surgical floor coverage across general surgery, OB/GYN, and orthopedic cases. Responsibilities include rounding/progress notes, managing orders, consults, and discharges, and assisting with intraoperative tasks such as suturing, wound closure, hemostasis, suction/drainage, and patient positioning. Weekend (1–2 per month) and weeknight (up to 4 shifts/month) call options are available for additional earnings.

Requirements

• Robotics experience (required)

• Active New York license

• AHA BLS, ACLS, and ATLS certifications

• Minimum 2 years of recent surgical experience

• Strong experience in both OR and inpatient surgical care
