Description

You will provide pediatric inpatient neurosurgery care in a fast-paced environment alongside a collaborative neurosurgical team and residents. The role emphasizes patient care, including evaluations, treatment plan management, orders, and discharge follow-up. Documentation is completed using Epic EMR.

Responsibilities

• Participate in daily inpatient pediatric neurosurgery rounds with residents
• Evaluate patients and implement treatment plans
• Enter clinical orders and coordinate patient care
• Manage discharge planning and inpatient follow-up
• Remove Hemovac and JP drains when clinically appropriate
• Document patient care using Epic EMR

Requirements

• Board Certified in Neurosurgery
• Active Massachusetts license
• Minimum 1 year of Neurosurgery experience
• Recent Epic EMR experience
