• Schedule: Primarily weekday day shifts

• Call: Approximately 14 hospital call shifts per month (24-hour call with morning clinic support)

Description

Provide comprehensive gastroenterology care across hospital and clinic settings. You will perform patient evaluations, consultations, admissions, rounding, follow-up care, and GI procedures while collaborating with an experienced gastroenterology team and the multidisciplinary care team. Maintain accurate and timely documentation using Epic EMR.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive gastroenterology care in both hospital and clinic settings

• Perform patient evaluations, consultations, admissions, rounding, and follow-up care

• Perform GI procedures and manage a wide range of gastrointestinal conditions

• Collaborate with other gastroenterologists and the multidisciplinary care team

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in Epic EMR

Requirements

• MD/DO with Board Certification in Gastroenterology

• Active Washington medical license or willingness to obtain one before the start date

• Recent clinical experience meeting credentialing requirements

• Epic EMR experience preferred
