Description

Provide inpatient Gastroenterology coverage for adult patients, including rounding, new consultations, and GI procedures such as ERCP. Manage approximately 10 patients per day and support both scheduled daytime coverage and required night call. ERCP experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient Gastroenterology coverage

• Perform daily rounding and evaluate new GI consultations

• Perform GI procedures, including ERCP

• Manage approximately 10 patients per day

• Provide scheduled daytime coverage and participate in required night call

• Collaborate with specialty consultants and outpatient GI colleagues as needed

Requirements

• MD/DO with Gastroenterology specialization

• ERCP experience required

• Recent Gastroenterology clinical activity/case logs within the past 24 months

• ACLS certification

• Appropriate state licensure; licensing assistance may be considered depending on start date

• Hospital privileges required
