• Call shifts: Approximately 14 call shifts per month

• Weekend coverage: None except when assigned to call

Description

Provide Gastroenterology coverage in both inpatient and outpatient settings, working alongside other Gastroenterologists and practice support staff. You will handle hospital rounding, admissions, consultations, procedures, and scheduled daytime clinic coverage, including required hospital call coverage.

Responsibilities

• Provide Gastroenterology coverage in inpatient and outpatient settings

• Perform hospital rounding, admissions, consultations, and procedures

• Provide scheduled daytime clinic coverage

• Participate in required hospital call coverage

• Manage approximately 4 patients in the morning when on call

• Collaborate with other Gastroenterologists and practice support staff

• Provide clinic assistance in the morning following overnight call

• Complete required call-related administrative/clinical coverage

Requirements

• MD/DO with Gastroenterology specialization

• ERCP experience required

• Recent Gastroenterology clinical activity/case logs within the past 24 months

• ACLS certification

• Appropriate state licensure; licensing assistance may be considered depending on start date

• Hospital privileges required
