Description

Join a neurosurgery practice with a dedicated team providing coverage across all areas of neurosurgery. The role includes OR first-assist on a weekly rotation, as well as outpatient clinic and inpatient/consult coverage with call included.

Responsibilities

• Serve as 1st assist in the OR on a weekly rotation

• Provide outpatient clinic care

• Cover inpatient/consults

• Participate in call coverage

Requirements

• Master’s Degree in Physician Assistant (required)

• PA track: graduate of an ARC-approved physician assistant program; eligible or certified by NCCPA; eligible or certified by the State Board of Medicine

• NP track: certificate of completion from an approved nurse practitioner program; eligible or certified by the Pennsylvania State Board of Nursing

• Acute care certification

• Certified to work with all patient population age groups
