Description

The neurosurgery NP/PA will join a dedicated team to support comprehensive care across spine, cranial, and trauma. Responsibilities include weekly first-assist in the OR on rotation, outpatient clinic care, and inpatient/consult coverage with call included.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1st assist in the OR on a weekly rotation

• Provide outpatient clinic coverage

• Provide inpatient and consult coverage

• Participate in call coverage

Requirements

• PA track: Graduate of an ARC-approved physician assistant program; eligible or certified by NCCPA

• NP track: Certificate of completion from an approved Nurse Practitioner program; eligible or certified by the Pennsylvania State Board of Nursing

• Acute care certification

• Certified to work with all patient age groups
