Description

You will coordinate and manage releases in a complex IT environment, ensuring smooth and high-quality change delivery. The role covers release planning and scheduling, cross-team coordination (Development, QA, Architecture, Operations, Business), and oversight of risks and readiness decisions (Release Readiness and Go/No-Go). You will also ensure compliance with CI/CD, ITIL, and organizational standards, including management of Change Requests and deployment/rollback documentation.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain release plans and schedules

• Coordinate activities between Development, QA, Architecture, Operations, and Business

• Manage release scope and identify dependencies between systems, components, and teams

• Define and evolve release management standards and procedures

• Ensure process consistency across the full SDLC

• Oversee release compliance with CI/CD policies, ITIL, and organizational standards

• Plan deployment windows and coordinate production changes

• Identify risks, monitor release quality, and initiate actions to minimize impact

• Run Release Readiness and Go/No-Go meetings

• Prepare and verify Deployment Plans, Rollback Plans, and change documentation

• Coordinate deployment activities during production windows

• Manage the Change Request process

• Collaborate with security areas and operational risk management

Requirements

• Experience as a Release Manager or in a similar role coordinating IT releases

• Experience in the banking sector

• Practical knowledge of SDLC, Release Management, and Change Management

• Experience working according to the ITIL framework

• Ability to work with multiple stakeholders and coordinate in a complex organization

• Experience working with AI tools

• Strong communication and organizational skills
