Description

Build and maintain Java/Spring Boot backend services for a banking environment. Design and deliver new backend functionalities, develop and maintain system integrations—especially via REST APIs—and collaborate with analysts, architects, and frontend teams to ensure quality, stability, and maintainability. Support CI/CD and deployment processes.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Java/Spring Boot backend services
• Design and implement new features based on business and technical requirements
• Develop and maintain system integrations, particularly using REST API
• Collaborate with analysts and architects on design and implementation
• Work with frontend teams on integration of system components
• Ensure code quality, stability, and maintainability
• Participate in release/deployment processes and CI/CD
• Support processes related to selling and servicing insurance products in a banking environment

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of commercial experience as a backend developer using Java
• Very good knowledge of Spring Boot and experience creating and evolving backend services
• Practical experience integrating systems with REST API
• Experience working with relational databases
• Good knowledge of Git and code versioning practices
• Experience working with CI/CD processes
• Knowledge of Agile/Scrum
• Experience collaborating with analysts, architects, and frontend teams
• Ability to independently analyze problems and propose appropriate technical solutions
• Strong communication skills and a team collaboration mindset
