Description

Be part of a production-focused engineering effort building and maintaining Go services, Kubernetes controllers, and CLI tools for ApeiroRA Lifecycle Management. You’ll design CRDs and implement reconciliation loops with controller-runtime, while integrating lifecycle workflows with Terraform-based IaC pipelines using non-interactive execution. You will also work with legacy code: document it progressively and increase test coverage.

Responsibilities

• Long-term collaboration for an international consulting client serving large and mid-sized organizations across industries (e.g., automotive, healthcare, finance/banking, production).
• Create and maintain services in Go, Kubernetes controllers, and lifecycle-management CLI tools for ApeiroRA Lifecycle Management.
• Work on production systems, gradually document legacy code with limited documentation, and increase test coverage.
• Design Kubernetes CRDs and implement reconcilers using controller-runtime, including status and condition management.
• Integrate lifecycle workflows with IaC pipelines via a Terraform provider, using non-interactive execution.

Requirements

• Documented experience with Go in building production services and CLI tools.
• Practical experience with Kubernetes controller-runtime: CRD design, reconciliation loops, and status/condition handling.
• Strong Linux fundamentals.
• Practical knowledge of Terraform providers and automated non-interactive runs.
• Comfort working with unknown or poorly documented codebases.
• English proficiency at B2 or C1 for smooth communication in an international environment.
• Availability ASAP; acceptable notice period up to the end of the month (max one month).
