Description

You will develop, deploy, and operate production-grade Go services, CLI tools, and Linux-based backend components. The role includes designing Kubernetes Custom Resource Definitions (CRDs), implementing controller-runtime reconcilers with structured status and condition management, and integrating workload lifecycle workflows with Terraform IaC pipelines. You will also analyze, debug, and safely extend legacy and undocumented codebases, while improving test coverage, observability, and technical documentation.

Responsibilities

• Develop, deploy, and operate production-grade Go services, CLI tools, and Linux-based backend components

• Design CRDs and implement controller-runtime reconcilers, including structured status and condition management

• Integrate workload lifecycle workflows with Terraform IaC pipelines using the Terraform provider model for non-interactive execution

• Analyze, debug, and safely extend legacy and undocumented codebases

• Increase test coverage, observability, and technical documentation across assigned services

• Participate in code reviews and collaborate with platform engineering teams to maintain operational stability

Requirements

• Proven hands-on experience in Go (Golang) building production services, concurrent applications, and command-line interfaces

• Practical experience with the Kubernetes controller-runtime ecosystem: CRD schema design, reconciliation loops, and status condition semantics

• Solid Linux operating system fundamentals: process isolation and runtime troubleshooting

• Working knowledge of Terraform provider architecture, plugin models, and automated headless CI/CD execution

• Ability to navigate, understand, and refactor poorly documented or legacy codebases

• Strong written and verbal English communication skills for remote collaboration
