Description

Design and build cloud platform services using .NET and Go while migrating an existing Python codebase to Go. Work with REST and gRPC for service communication and Kubernetes for deployment and scaling. Contribute to system and software architecture and support new platform features across the organization, including an on-call rotation.

Responsibilities

• Create new designs, software architecture, and deployment methods for large-scale distributed systems

• Help define the technical approach and system/software architecture with the team

• Learn and deeply understand internal platforms

• Propose technical approaches and designs for new organization-wide features

• Drive platform capabilities and requirements supporting new product features

• Participate in an on-call rotation (one sprint on, multiple sprints off)

Requirements

• 3+ years of software development experience; minimum 2 years in scalable, cloud-hosted application development

• Knowledge of .NET Core or Go

• Curiosity to learn and improve systems “under the hood”

• Willingness to work on any problem type: development, testing, and deployment automation

• Ability to learn quickly and adapt to solve practical problems

• Effective verbal and written English communication

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Math, or related field (or equivalent experience)
