Description

Design, develop, and maintain production Go services, high-performance CLI applications, and Linux-based backend components. Build and operate Kubernetes reconcilers and custom resources (CRDs) using controller-runtime, and develop integrations within the Terraform provider ecosystem. Maintain legacy services with backward compatibility, and ensure production reliability through robust testing, observability, and performance troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain Go services, CLI applications, and Linux backend components
• Build and operate CRDs and Kubernetes reconcilers using controller-runtime
• Develop custom Terraform provider logic and manage resource lifecycle
• Maintain, refactor, and modernize legacy services while preserving backward compatibility
• Implement unit, integration, and end-to-end tests for all Go codebases
• Participate in design reviews, contribute to architecture discussions, and write technical documentation
• Troubleshoot complex concurrency, memory, and performance issues in distributed containerized environments

Requirements

• 5+ years of software engineering experience
• Strong hands-on expertise writing idiomatic, concurrent, high-performance Go (Golang)
• Experience building Kubernetes operators/custom controllers, reconciler loops, and CRDs with controller-runtime
• Solid working knowledge of Linux environments and systems programming concepts
• Practical experience with Terraform and the Terraform provider SDK/plugin framework
• Ability to maintain, debug, and safely refactor legacy codebases
• Solid grasp of containerization and orchestration tooling, specifically Docker and Kubernetes
• Fluent English communication skills (written and spoken)
