Description

Work as an SAP MDG Consultant supporting MDG projects for a manufacturing/food client. You will take ownership of end-to-end MDG configuration (data, process, and UI modeling), workflow and rule setup (BRF+, validations, derivations), and integration activities, while participating in reviews/walkthroughs and producing operational and technical documentation.

The role follows Waterfall methodology with flexibility to Agile as needed, and values strong AMS/support experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform assigned tasks independently with limited supervision, ensuring high-quality deliverables

• Participate in reviews and walkthroughs

• Prepare operational and technical documentation

• Deliver tasks on time and proactively communicate status to stakeholders

• Conduct analysis and problem-solving with strong attention to detail

• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional and distributed teams

• Follow defined tools, standards, and processes to ensure consistency and quality

• Work under Waterfall, with possible adaptation to Agile depending on project needs

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in SAP Master Data Governance (MDG)

• At least 2 full MDG implementations

• Strong AMS/support experience

• Practical knowledge of MDG-BP and MDG-FI data models

• Practical knowledge of IDocs/SOA

• Deep understanding of end-to-end SAP MDG configuration: Data Modeling, Process Modeling, UI Modeling

• Experience configuring and managing Data Models, Workflow/Process Models, UI Models

• Experience with BRF+ rules and Validation/Derivation rules

• Experience with Change Request (CR) frameworks

• Experience with Incident Management

• Experience with MDG Change Request (CR) lifecycle and troubleshooting CR workflow

• Expert knowledge of MDG coordination/support: Data Mapping, Validations, Derivations, SMT Mapping, and integrations across business processes

• Experience with data replication and IDoc/SOA recompilation/reprocessing, including error handling, data monitoring, and workflow routing troubleshooting

• Strong functional knowledge of SAP SD and SAP FI

• Ability to understand, analyze, and document business processes and functional requirements

• English level B2 or C1

• ASAP availability (or max. 1-month notice with end-of-month effect)
