Description

You will design, deploy, and maintain automated deployment and release processes for HighByte Intelligence Hub and HiveMQ in an Industrial IoT edge-to-cloud environment. You will automate environment provisioning, configuration, updates, validation, and rollback, and build CI/CD pipelines. You will also operate and monitor MQTT broker environments with secure connectivity, and troubleshoot deployment, connectivity, performance, certificate, and communication issues.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain automated deployment processes for HighByte Intelligence Hub and HiveMQ
• Automate provisioning, configuration, updates, validation, and rollback
• Build and evolve CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or similar tools
• Implement Infrastructure as Code and deployment automation using Terraform, Ansible, PowerShell, Bash, and Python
• Deploy and manage containerized applications with Docker and Kubernetes
• Configure and maintain HighByte integration between OT/industrial systems and enterprise/cloud platforms
• Deploy, administer, and monitor HiveMQ MQTT broker environments
• Support MQTT communication and ensure secure broker connectivity
• Implement monitoring, logging, alerting, and health-check mechanisms
• Diagnose deployment, connectivity, performance, certificate, and communication issues
• Manage certificates, secrets, authentication data, and service identities
• Prepare technical documentation, operational procedures, and troubleshooting instructions
• Collaborate with Security, Infrastructure, Development, and OT teams

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience in DevOps, Platform Engineering, SRE, or Infrastructure Engineering
• Practical experience with HighByte Intelligence Hub (required)
• Experience deploying and managing HiveMQ or similar MQTT platforms (required)
• Very good knowledge of the MQTT protocol and Industrial IoT architecture
• Experience building automated deployments and CI/CD pipelines
• Very good knowledge of Terraform, Ansible, PowerShell/Bash, and Python
• Experience working with Docker and Kubernetes
• Knowledge of Git and versioning/release management processes
• Knowledge of monitoring, logging, observability, networking, TLS, secrets management, and secure communication between services
• Ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues
