Description

You will design, implement, and continuously improve CI/CD and release automation frameworks, Infrastructure as Code solutions, and DevSecOps practices for a data integration platform. You will help define platform engineering and DevSecOps foundations while setting standards, automating security quality gates, and improving monitoring, observability, reliability, and operational readiness.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and continuously improve CI/CD frameworks and release automation processes

• Build and maintain Infrastructure as Code, environment automation, and standards that enable consistent, reliable deployments

• Develop DevSecOps practices and manage tools used by engineering teams

• Work with GitHub Enterprise, GitHub Copilot, and Azure DevOps

• Automate security in the software delivery process with appropriate quality gates and control mechanisms

• Create platform engineering standards and patterns to improve developer experience and team efficiency

• Support monitoring, observability, reliability, and operational readiness

• Identify automation opportunities and productivity improvements; recommend tools and standards

• Collaborate with Engineering, Delivery, Operations, Architecture, platform owners, and external partners

• Influence technical standards across multiple teams without formal management responsibility

• Identify and escalate solutions that increase operational, security, or delivery-process risk

Requirements

• Higher education or equivalent experience in IT, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Cloud Engineering, Cybersecurity, Data Engineering, or related fields

• Minimum 7 years of experience in software engineering, DevOps, DevSecOps, cloud, platform engineering, or SRE (preferably in a complex enterprise environment)

• Practical experience with CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code, environment automation, release automation, and secure pipelines

• Very good knowledge of GitHub Enterprise and Azure DevOps and modern DevOps/DevSecOps practices

• Knowledge of secure software delivery principles, quality gates, reliability, observability, and operational readiness

• Ability to create and implement technical standards in environments spanning multiple teams and products

• Ability to drive change and challenge solutions that introduce unnecessary technical, operational, or security risk

• Very good communication and collaboration skills with technical, business, architecture, operations teams, and external partners

• Experience with AI-supported software development tools, especially GitHub Copilot (preferred)

• Certifications related to DevOps, cloud, cybersecurity, GitHub, Azure, or platform engineering (preferred)

• Very good English proficiency (spoken and written)
