Description

Hands-on Senior DevOps Engineer role supporting and modernising a suite of business-critical applications. You will drive automation, improve platform reliability, and deliver modern DevOps practices across a complex global environment. You will collaborate with developers, QA, infrastructure teams, architects, and Quantitative Traders to streamline delivery, containerise applications, and enhance cloud-native capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable CI/CD pipelines

• Develop Infrastructure as Code and automation solutions

• Create and maintain Ansible playbooks and deployment tooling

• Support and optimise Kubernetes-based platforms

• Containerise and modernise existing applications

• Automate operational processes to improve efficiency and reliability

• Troubleshoot complex infrastructure, deployment, and application issues

• Collaborate with development teams to improve software delivery practices

• Drive platform stability, performance, and operational excellence

• Support a highly available, business-critical production environment

Requirements

• Strong Linux administration and engineering experience

• Hands-on expertise with Ansible

• Experience with Kubernetes and container orchestration (Docker)

• Knowledge of Docker, Podman and/or OpenShift

• Strong CI/CD experience, ideally with Azure DevOps

• Experience building and managing deployment pipelines

• Proficiency in scripting with Bash, Python or Groovy

• Solid understanding of networking, infrastructure, and system administration

• Experience working in DevOps, Platform Engineering or SRE environments

• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
