Description

The Senior DevOps Engineer aligns development and operations by automating and securing software delivery pipelines and infrastructure. You will design CI/CD pipelines, run GitOps deployments with Argo CD, implement zero-downtime release strategies, and provision AWS infrastructure using Terraform. The role is AI-first, requiring practical use of AI tools to automate tasks, improve code quality, and accelerate delivery decisions.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines (GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, Jenkins)
• Manage GitOps deployments with Argo CD (application definitions, environment management)
• Automate builds, tests, and deployments across environments
• Implement zero-downtime deployment strategies
• Provision and manage AWS infrastructure with Terraform (Infrastructure as Code)
• Administer containerization using Docker and Kubernetes
• Set up and maintain monitoring and alerting
• Define reliability indicators and support incident management
• Apply DevSecOps best practices and ensure compliance
• Support development teams in adopting DevOps practices
• Write and maintain technical documentation
• Leverage AI-assisted tools to improve engineering efficiency and delivery velocity
• Continuously evaluate and adopt AI-driven approaches for infrastructure automation, troubleshooting, documentation, and software delivery
• Identify opportunities to optimize workflows using AI technologies
• Support adoption of AI-enhanced engineering practices across development and infrastructure teams

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience in a DevOps role or relevant position
• Strong command of Terraform (Infrastructure as Code)
• In-depth knowledge of AWS services (EC2, EKS, RDS)
• Proven experience with CI/CD tools (GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, Jenkins)
• Experience managing high-availability production environments
• AI-first mindset; actively use modern AI tools to automate tasks and improve productivity
• Practical experience using AI tools to enhance software engineering and DevOps workflows
• Demonstrated ability to leverage AI solutions to automate tasks, improve productivity, and accelerate problem-solving
• Growth mindset to continuously adapt to emerging AI technologies and engineering practices
