Description

Design and implement solutions using Microsoft Dynamics 365 and the Power Platform. Own the analysis of business processes and requirements, convert insights into epics/user stories, acceptance criteria, and non-functional requirements, and collaborate with business and technical teams throughout the project. Map requirements to standard Dynamics 365 and Dataverse capabilities, evaluate AI/agent use cases, and ensure end-to-end traceability and measurable business outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Run business needs analysis using process mapping, user journeys, Event Storming, and BPMN; translate findings into epics, user stories, acceptance criteria, and non-functional requirements.

• Map business requirements to standard capabilities such as Dynamics 365 Sales, Customer Service, Field Service, Customer Insights, Dataverse, Power Apps, Power Automate, and Copilot Studio before proposing custom solutions.

• Identify opportunities for AI and AI agents with human oversight, data sources, permissions, evaluation criteria, privacy, and fallback scenarios.

• Ensure end-to-end traceability from business goals through requirements and solution components to test results and deployment outcomes, using Azure DevOps or similar tools.

• Define with architects and security experts requirements around data quality and retention, security roles, segregation of duties, auditability, and integrations.

• Support fit-to-standard workshops, backlog refinement, UAT testing, adoption planning, and monitoring realized business benefits using agreed KPIs.

• Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary and distributed project teams and customer stakeholders.

• Document key decisions, assumptions, and risks and follow agreed quality standards (source control, peer review, quality gates).

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of experience in business analysis or functional consulting for projects using Dynamics 365 and/or Power Platform.

• Practical knowledge of Dataverse configuration: tables, forms, views, model-driven apps, business rules, and Power Automate.

• Ability to differentiate standard solutions, configuration, custom development, and high-risk changes; evaluate impacts on further development and maintenance.

• Knowledge of APIs, integration patterns, ALM, environment/solution management, data migration, and test automation.

• Experience creating testable requirements, process diagrams, data definitions, and acceptance criteria that include user roles.

• Understanding of Responsible AI, Privacy by Design, accessibility, and IT security.

• Strong communication skills with business and technical stakeholders; precise documentation.
