Description

As a Printing Services Specialist, you will review and approve complex printing requests by developing comprehensive printing and binding specifications. You will conduct advanced pre-flight reviews for compliance, create print-related procurement requisitions and statements of work, and use print-related software to convert and edit documents from hard copies and digital files for production. You will provide printing services on high speed digital printers and deliver technical guidance to customers.

Responsibilities

• Review and approve complex printing requests; develop printing and binding specifications

• Perform advanced pre-flight reviews to ensure technical/regulatory compliance

• Develop procurement requisitions and draft statements of work based on complex specifications

• Convert, edit, and prepare documents for printing using print-related software

• Provide printing services on high speed digital printers

• Provide technical guidance on digital and multi-media printing (including at higher grades)

• Support coordination with contractors and vendors as part of production workflows

• Provide status updates to managers and stakeholders on print assignments

Requirements

• U.S. Citizen or U.S. National

• Background investigation successfully completed

• Declaration for Federal Employment completed

• Identity and employment eligibility verification via PIV (2 forms of ID for Form I-9)

• Salary via Direct Deposit/Electronic Funds Transfer

• Selective Service registration or exemption (for applicable male applicants)

• Government-issued charge card obtained and used for business travel

• Meet GS-09/GS-11/GS-12 minimum qualifications via specialized experience and/or education
