Description

You will design, code, and maintain backend software systems, add new features, and help debug and integrate solutions. The role also includes developing data queries, implementing algorithms for performance/functionality, and supporting test procedures and documentation. Strong cloud and distributed big data/NoSQL experience is highly desired.

Responsibilities

• Analyze user requirements to derive software design and performance requirements
• Design and code new software or modify existing software to add new features
• Debug defects and correct existing software issues
• Integrate existing software into new or modified systems/environments
• Develop simple data queries for existing or proposed databases/data repositories
• Implement algorithms to meet or exceed system performance and functional standards
• Develop or execute test procedures for software components
• Write or review software and system documentation
• Develop software solutions by analyzing system performance standards and system/data/process flow
• Serve as a team lead at the appropriate level for the project’s software development process
• Modify existing software to correct errors, adapt to new hardware, or improve performance
• Design, develop, and modify software systems using scientific analysis and mathematical models
• Design or implement complex database/data repository interfaces and queries

Requirements

• Active TS/SCI with full-scope polygraph security clearance
• U.S. citizenship
• 7 years SWE experience on programs/contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related; or 4 additional years SWE experience in similar software processes
