Description

You’ll design, build, and scale resilient backend systems for international clients while partnering closely with business stakeholders. The role emphasizes ownership of architecture, early risk identification, mentorship through “lessons learned,” and applied AI integrations that create real product impact. You’ll also contribute to open-source and internal AI R&D.

Responsibilities

• Own the architecture and implementation of complex backend systems
• Identify systemic risks early and propose clear, actionable mitigations
• Work with stakeholders to translate business needs into scalable technology
• Share observations and lessons learned to help the whole team level up
• Identify where applied AI can improve a product and lead the implementation

Requirements

• 5+ years building web applications (preferably with Python frameworks)
• University degree in computer science, data science, or similar field
• Deep understanding of monoliths, microservices, and messaging patterns
• Expert knowledge of PostgreSQL and performance optimization at scale
• Practical experience with CI/CD, Docker, and AWS or GCP
• Fluent English (C1) for direct client collaboration
• Proactive, technology-driven mindset and readiness to experiment
• AI-native workflow using tools such as Claude or Cursor
