Description

Join an international engineering team building software solutions for the industrial automation and motion control industry, spanning both web and desktop applications. In this role, you will translate requirements into technical specifications, design and implement software components, execute tests, and lead integration across subsystems while guiding technical decisions and improving engineering practices.

Responsibilities

• Gather and document software requirements and translate them into technical specifications
• Contribute to software architecture and system design (performance, reliability, and effort)
• Estimate development tasks and evaluate alternative technical approaches
• Design, develop, document, and maintain web and desktop software components
• Develop and run unit tests; investigate bugs and ensure software quality
• Lead integration of software components across different subsystems and resolve technical issues
• Provide technical guidance to other engineers; support design, testing, and integration
• Participate in code reviews, design reviews, and technical discussions
• Maintain ongoing stability and maintenance of multiple software subsystems
• Collaborate with engineers and stakeholders to prioritize and coordinate development work
• Recommend improvements to development practices, tools, and engineering workflows
• Research new technologies and standards to address technical challenges

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent practical experience
• Solid software development experience, ideally in a senior engineering or technical leadership role
• Good knowledge of web technologies: HTML, CSS, Angular, and JavaScript/TypeScript
• Experience with Kotlin and cloud technologies
• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming and design principles
• Hands-on experience with at least one OOP language: C++, C#, Java, or Python
• Experience with software architecture, system design, and making technical decisions
• Knowledge of software testing, debugging, and troubleshooting across components
• Experience with code reviews, technical discussions, and software integration
• Ability to guide other engineers and communicate technical concepts clearly
• Proactive mindset for solving technical problems and improving development practices
