Description

You will be a hands-on technical driver within an autonomous pod—directing AI coding agents, writing and reviewing code, validating architectures, and shipping high-impact software. The role combines end-to-end feature delivery (React frontends, Python microservices, and cloud-native backends) with hypothesis-driven engineering and strong technical thought leadership.

Responsibilities

• Build, prototype, and ship end-to-end features from whiteboard to production deployment

• Use AI-assisted development workflows to rapidly prototype and iterate on UI and backend services

• Deliver resilient, clean, maintainable code across the full stack

• Partner with product managers and domain experts to run low-cost technical experiments that generate real user feedback

• Design scalable, resilient cloud systems with clean API contracts and modular architectures

• Use serverless primitives and Infrastructure-as-Code to manage cloud infrastructure

• Provide technical validation for complex codebases (including AI-generated output), including security, edge cases, and performance

• Define and champion automated testing (unit/integration/e2e), CI/CD governance, and observability

• Mentor engineers through pair programming and architectural discussions

Requirements

• 2 to 8+ years of professional software engineering experience with senior-level hands-on scope

• React + TypeScript/JavaScript expertise (functional components, hooks, state management, responsive CSS; Material UI and/or Tailwind CSS)

• Backend expertise in Python (FastAPI/Flask/Django) and API design (RESTful/GraphQL, authentication, async processing)

• Data modeling experience with PostgreSQL and document/NoSQL stores

• AWS cloud-native experience (Lambda, S3, CloudFront, API Gateway, RDS PostgreSQL) and Terraform IaC

• Proficiency with Git/GitHub workflows and automated CI/CD pipelines

• AI-assisted development/tooling fluency (Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, Devin AI) including directing, evaluating, and testing outputs and understanding failure/security risks

• Ability to lead architectural decisions, set engineering standards, and drive outcome-focused delivery
