Description

Join a team to build and ship end-to-end product features in an autonomous pod, taking work from whiteboard design through full-stack implementation and production deployment. You’ll use AI-assisted development workflows (e.g., Claude Code, GitHub Copilot) to prototype UIs and deliver resilient backend services, while partnering with product and domain experts.

Responsibilities

• Build, prototype, and ship end-to-end across responsive React frontends and cloud-native backends

• Drive hypothesis-driven product engineering by deconstructing user journeys and selecting high-leverage technical solutions

• Design low-cost experiments and interactive prototypes to gather high-signal user feedback before full architecture decisions

• Architect scalable, resilient systems with modular designs and clean API contracts

• Use serverless primitives and Infrastructure-as-Code (e.g., Terraform) to support scalable enterprise workloads

• Provide technical thought leadership and rigorous validation for correctness, security, edge cases, and performance (including AI-generated output)

• Define automated testing strategy (unit, integration, end-to-end), CI/CD governance, and observability practices

• Mentor engineers through pair programming, architectural discussions, and shared engineering mental models

Requirements

• 2–8+ years of professional software engineering experience

• Ability to lead and mentor other engineers while remaining hands-on

• Strong curiosity, observance, and drive

• Strong proficiency in full-stack development with React and TypeScript/JavaScript

• Experience with backend development using Node.js and/or Python and/or Java

• REST API development experience

• Data modeling and database experience (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB)

• System design experience (microservices and modular architecture)

• Cloud experience with AWS, Azure, and/or Google Cloud Platform

• CI/CD, Docker, and Kubernetes experience

• Experience using AI-assisted development workflows such as GitHub Copilot

• Experience with technical leadership, engineering standards, and end-to-end ownership

• Willingness to work a hybrid schedule with 3 days onsite per week
