Description

Design, develop, and maintain full-stack capabilities across user interfaces, backend microservices, and web services for mission-critical outcomes. Build and enhance REST-based APIs and integrate services, automate analytical workflows, and support cloud-native solutions on AWS. Provide end-to-end feature delivery including testing, code reviews, deployment support, technical demonstrations, and Tier 3 production support.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain user interfaces and backend microservices

• Build and enhance APIs and service integrations (e.g., REST services with FastAPI)

• Automate analytical workflows and create repeatable processing pipelines

• Contribute to AWS cloud-native solutions (deployment, monitoring, operational support)

• Develop persistent data solutions using PostgreSQL and/or MongoDB

• Support data flow/orchestration (e.g., Apache NiFi)

• Participate in Agile ceremonies, code reviews, troubleshooting, and process improvement

• Provide Tier 3 support for deployed applications and databases

• Assist with release planning, deployment procedures, and documentation (Jira/Confluence)

• Support off-hours deployments as needed

• Participate in team demos and stakeholder presentations

Requirements

• 4+ years of relevant software development experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Engineering or related field, or equivalent practical experience

• Active TS/SCI clearance

• U.S. residency at time of application

• Hands-on Python development

• REST API development using FastAPI or similar frameworks

• Hands-on AWS cloud environment experience

• Docker and containerization experience

• Git-based version control (GitHub/GitLab)

• PostgreSQL and/or MongoDB experience

• Agile development methodology (Scrum/Kanban)

• Collaboration tools: Jira and Confluence

• Ability to collaborate effectively and deliver maintainable, high-quality code
