Description

Lead full-stack engineering projects for the Asset Management Digital Technology team, partnering with global stakeholders to build scalable, secure, customer-centric financial applications. Manage a global team of engineers and deliver both backend and frontend functionality using modern enterprise and cloud technologies. Emphasis is on performance, code quality, and collaborative execution in an Agile environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead a global team of software engineers across backend and frontend technologies

• Architect and develop full-stack applications integrating responsive frontend interfaces with backend services

• Build RESTful web services and integrate queue systems (Kafka) for improved efficiency

• Develop data solutions using SQL/NoSQL and MongoDB

• Ensure application security using Spring Security (including OAuth) and multi-threading concepts

• Use AWS services (ECS, Lambda, Step Functions) to build scalable solutions

• Containerize and orchestrate services with Docker and Kubernetes

• Apply test-driven development using JUnit and maintain quality standards with SonarQube

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver customer-centric products

Requirements

• 6+ years of relevant professional experience

• Strong expertise in Java and Spring Boot

• Proficiency with JavaScript, TypeScript, ReactJS, HTML5, CSS3, and NextJS

• Experience with SQL/NoSQL and MongoDB

• Experience integrating Kafka

• Experience with Gradle or Maven and Git-based CI/CD

• Security development with Spring Security and OAuth, plus multi-threading knowledge

• AWS experience with ECS, Lambda, and Step Functions

• Docker and Kubernetes experience

• Strong front-end implementation skills and attention to detail

• Agile collaboration and strong written/verbal communication

• Test-driven development with JUnit and code quality tooling like SonarQube
