Description

Lead software development with substantial hands-on coding, owning technical direction and architecture while mentoring engineers. Build enterprise applications using Python and modern frontend frameworks (Vue.js preferred; React acceptable) and deliver API/microservices-based solutions on AWS and/or Google Cloud. Apply AI-assisted development and AI techniques such as agentic AI, MCP, LangGraph, or RAG.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor developers; provide technical direction

• Actively design and deliver software (stay coding)

• Take architecture ownership and explain technical tradeoffs

• Translate business requirements into technical solutions

Requirements

• Substantial hands-on coding experience

• Full-stack experience (backend-heavy acceptable)

• Technical lead experience with mentoring and technical direction

• Solution/application architect experience

• Actively coding and delivering software

• Strong hands-on Python enterprise application development

• Vue.js preferred; React or similar acceptable

• AWS and/or Google Cloud Platform experience

• API and microservices experience

• AI-assisted development tools (Copilot, Cursor, Claude, etc.)

• Agentic AI, MCP, LangGraph, or RAG experience

• Strong engineering judgment, communication, and customer-facing presence

• Ability to work independently
