Description

Lead the technical design and development of enterprise-scale applications using Angular for the frontend and Java/Spring Boot for backend services. Work with architects, engineering management, and technical leads to deliver scalable, maintainable solutions, including REST APIs, microservices, and frontend-backend integrations. Contribute to AI-enabled capabilities and intelligent workflow automation while championing automated testing, CI/CD, code quality, and secure, reliable software delivery.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical design and development of enterprise applications using Angular, Java, and Spring Boot
• Stay hands-on for complex features, foundational components, and critical integrations
• Provide day-to-day technical guidance: code reviews, troubleshooting, and implementation support
• Design and develop scalable REST APIs and microservices, enabling seamless frontend-backend integrations
• Establish frontend engineering standards for reusable components, application performance, and maintainability
• Collaborate with data and platform teams to integrate data services, asynchronous processing, and event-driven capabilities
• Contribute to AI-enabled features, intelligent workflow automation, and integration with LLM-based services
• Translate business and technical requirements into practical designs, development tasks, and deliverables
• Champion automated testing, CI/CD, code quality, secure development, and operational reliability
• Identify technical risks, resolve engineering challenges, and support delivery commitments
• Mentor engineers, promote knowledge sharing, and ensure sustainable internal ownership of solutions

Requirements

• 6–10 years of relevant software engineering experience (preferably finance or a large complex enterprise)
• Strong experience with Java and Spring Boot
• Strong experience with Angular
• Knowledge of microservices architecture, RESTful APIs, system integration, and database technologies
• Experience with modern engineering practices: code reviews, automated testing, CI/CD pipelines, and secure coding standards
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for complex troubleshooting
• Experience delivering software across the SDLC (requirements analysis and design through implementation and production support)
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and take ownership
• Experience in Agile environments and with geographically distributed teams
• Ability to adapt to changing requirements and meet deadlines
• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience); Master’s preferred
